Dr. Anat Aronowicz DC, 200YTT, 300YTT, DNSP, is a Chiropractor, Yoga Instructor, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Practitioner. Her therapeutic work uses chiropractic, soft tissue and movement-based therapy to achieve smooth movement and intentioned alignment by building stability and fluidity using the principles of joint centration and intra-abdominal pressure. She focuses on re-establishing healthy joint motion throughout the body while normalizing dural tension. Since dura is the connective tissue which covers the brain, spinal cord, and becomes epineurium covering each nerve, it is important to “release it” when it becomes tight or torqued through trauma. Dr. Anat complements this “passive” work with client coaching, training and education: she believes that Yoga and DNS sequences empower us to find and maintain optimal posture, balance and coordinated movement.
Dr. Anat has advanced training in physical medicine from the Prague School’s Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability (DNS) Program in rehabilitation. She received her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2016 from the Southern California University of Health Sciences, having studied extremity and spinal adjusting extensively. Dr. Anat has also studied and been certified in Sacral-Occipital Technique (SOT/CSP) and Cranial Facial Release (CFR) Technique, which she uses to normalize Dural tone and balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Dr. Anat integrates chiropractic techniques with a Yoga Practice that aims to address structural imbalances, sport specific injuries and general wellness. Dr. Anat has been practicing yoga since 2002 and holds a 200hr & 300hr YTT. She is also extremely interested in and motivated to enhance rest, and improve sleep and sleeping patterns. Her patients and clients often report feeling “lighter” or “taller” after their treatments with her.
