Dr. Susanna Drmandjian received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Science, earning a spot on the Dean’s list and graduating with honors. Prior to attending SCUHS, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Northridge where she majored in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science. During her time at CSUN, she was involved in an Adapted Physical Activity facility as an intern utilizing exercise programs and rehab designed for adults and children with disabilities.
Dr. Drmandjian has also received her Webster Technique certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has experience treating patients during pregnancy. She enjoys working with children and understands the need for proper biomechanics for a growing child. She often attends seminars targeted for the pediatric population in order to provide the best possible care. Dr. Drmandjian is versed in the McKenzie Method, specifically a Mechanical Diagnostic and Therapy Technique, for both the cervical and lumbar regions of the spine, to help safely assess and treat mechanical spinal pain.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, her mission and promise is to supply all elements needed to achieve whole-body health through adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue mobilizations, nutrition and therapeutic exercise. Dr. Drmandjian believes a patient’s understanding of the body as a whole is a very important element of care. She understands that each individual should receive quality and effective chiropractic care backed by the most current research.
